In conclusion, there is a variety of pre-existing conditions and anxiety-producing medications that may contribute to causing anxiety and panic attacks in MRI patients. Although these potential anxiety-causing factors may not be taught in formal education programs,​​ they are nonetheless possible contributors to MRI anxiety.​​ Familiarizing yourself with these issues will not only help your patients by offering more patient-centered care,​​ but it​​ may make​​ our job as technologists a bit easier.
