Prism Mirrors and Glasses

This idea​​ of being able to see outside of the scanner​​ was taken one step further by introducing prism mirrors that enable the patient to see outside of the MRI bore. These mirrors are commonly used and available as an accessory on most​​ MRI​​ head coils21,28. Prism glasses are also available for use with other types of MRI exams in the form of​​ optical​​ glasses the patient wears during their exam90.
